2026 Okanagan Autocross Eliminator Championship Results

The OPDA held its annual Eliminator Championship on September 26 and 27, 2026. This popular two-day event consists of a series of qualifying rounds and a wildcard draw to ultimately pit the top Eliminator drivers against each other in a single-knockout bracket elimination.

Congratulations to Ian Jones who demonstrated a dominant consistency throughout the weekend to take home the coveted Eliminator Championship trophy in his 2015 Ford Fiesta ST.

2026 OPDA Okanagan Autocross Raw Time Champion

For the first time in the history of Okanagan Autocross, the club will award a trophy to the driver posting the highest Raw Times throughout the season.

The trophy will go to Andrew Bushby for his consistently strong performance throughout the 2026 season, with 1284 points out of a possible 1300.

The introduction of the Raw Time Champion award is intended to provide incentive for drivers of larger, high horsepower, less maneuverable cars that compete in our small, tight lots. The 2026 Raw Time Championship is experimental and the OPDA board will rule on its future at an upcoming board meeting.

2026 Okanagan Autocross Championship Results

The 2026 OPDA Okanagan Autocross championship season is complete. The Okanagan Precision Driving Association hosted a total of fourteen autocross championship dates from April through September 11 and an Introduction to Autocross event on April 18. The 2026 Okanagan Autocross Eliminator will take place on September 26 and 27.

With this busy schedule, the Okanagan Autocross continues to be the continent’s most prolific Autocross club, notching more events per calendar year than any other club in North America.

Success of this nature wouldn’t be possible without support from our valuable and generous sponsors. A big shout-out goes to Kal Tire, CSN Collision and Flema Products for their unwavering support of motorsports in the Okanagan for 2026.

OPDA Introduces Top Raw Time Championship Trophy

At the July 9 OPDA Board of Directors meeting, the board approved a motion to add a Top Raw Time Championship trophy to the 2026 season championships.

The trophy is a single-winner award and will be presented to the driver accumulating the most raw time points over the course of the full 2026 season.

The new award is in part an effort to engage members that might have vehicles not competitive in the PAX-based championships due to the effects of large-lot PAX classifications on the small lots used by the Okanagan Autocross.

The number of events included in the calculation will mirror the OPDA Overall and Group Championships where a “competitor’s total championship points shall be derived by summing their highest results from a maximum of 75% (rounded down) of events held.”
